Krabi - Day 4 & 5 : Hong Island

Last day, instate of 4 island, we choose Hong Island Tour.

Cost: 900thb per pax.
Package:
8am Pick up at hotel
9am Departure (Lading Island, Palbia Island, Hong Lagoon, Hong Island Bay + Lunch)
3pm Arrive back to hotel

Pier at Nopparat Thara Beach

This 3 motor speed boat can seats 50pax, usually is used during peak season.

First stop, Lading Island.

We can hardly see the beach due to high tide.

Here is really quiet and is definately away from crowds.

Lots of fishes here too.

Next, we head to Pakbia Island.

You can walk across to the other side when low tide.

Hong Island Tour is really not as popular as Phi phi or 4 islands tour. Therefore you can enjoy some quiet and natural in this tour.

Next, Hong Island's Lagoon

Entering lagoon.

Again, if not because of heavy rain last night and high tide (about 200m deep water) today, this lagoon is dry and is a lagoon beach, you can actually walk in the middle of sea.

Sea water here is so green but we see no fishes here.

Bye lagoon. Now heading to Hong Island.

Hong Island Bay

We spend most of our time here enjoy.

Blue sky, clear water, warm sun and soft sand, this is Hong Island.

Is so piecesful here until i feel a bit boring. =P

Ah! Warnig, certain part of the sea has sea bugs. We have attack by some, so itchy.

This is one lousy lunch i ever have in the whole trip.

But still manage to put all in because is very hungry.

Hong Island Bay - May 2010

We reach back hotel before 5pm. Do some washing, rent a motor and start wondering Ao Nang.

After dinner, of course never forget to have one last massage before heading home.

My hubby opt for a full body Thai massage (2hrs), I go for full body alovera & massage, only cost us 950thb. Miss New, lady boss give us discount and a souvinor too.

For those we stay in Aree Tara is just a walking distance to this Chaba Massage Centre. Have a try, friendly lady boss and she speak good english.
