Cannot imagine I can live without laptop and mobile phone for so many days. hehe...
Well, as you can see I survive and now let share my story here.
Our 5D4N Krabi trip start from 12 to 16 May 2010. Thank god is the beginning of none peak season, we get to enjoy low peak rate from hotel, tour to food. I think massage too, 1hr thai message for 200thb, cheap? We enjoy our massage every single night. Yes, every night until the lady boss also recognise us, give us discount and souvenir. ^.^
Let start with day 1,
10:40am - Arrive at LCCT. Thanks to my husband, he did the web check in and all we need to do is drop our luggage when we arrive. Feel good when queue is so long and all we need to do is drop and go, haha... naughty naughty girl =P
11:00am - We already park our ass inside LCCT Premium Lounge. Free internet, free beverages, free food and newspaper that is how we kill our time while waiting for departure.
1:00pm - Our flight has sligh delay but manage to land Krabi on time. Our Pilots must be speeding hope he did not get any summon. keke...
1:35pm (Krabi time) - Land, eventhough weather forecast said it will be a raining day but 'Mr.Sunny' is the one who welcome us when we arrive. Is was hot! hot! hot! How hot? Okay, let me put it this way, you will sweat by just standing there. Standing under a roof wo, not walking or under sun wo, you will sweat.
Lucky, I have book (online) a pick up service to Ao Nang where our hotel is located. To ease my mind I actually book the service both way meaning to pick us up on last day and send us to airport as well. Total cost for pick up service = 1000thb. I think is great deal.
2:20pm - Check in hotel - Aree Tara Resort. Small medium in size with modern design. Friendly reception too. Besides staffs at reception, the rest of the staffs barely can speak english but that doesn't border us much. (Room booked: Superior type with breakfast, USD31 per night through agoda.com)
Coffee provided but we bring our own Nescafe original and mild. ^_^
Bath room is clean, it comes with shower and bath tub with hot water. Soup, bath gel, shampoo, hair dryer is provided.
A mini safe box is inside the cupboard. It looks mini but not small, we manage to fit in one wallet, one purse, two passports, one ipod and one Nikon D5000, all at once. hehe...
Ah! A mini fridge with cold beverages inside (charge), snacks (Charge), two bottles of mineral waters free everyday. TV, i miss out the TV, is available no worry.
3:30pm - After unpack and time to cari makan and buy some tours. Because we want to familiarise the place, we decide to walk instate of taking taxi/tot tot. oh! one thing please take note, taxi and tot tot here is quite expensive. So is more worthy to rent a motor if you lazy to walk. Ao Nang is not that big, if you have time to kill, can walk from one end to another.
Before we start walking under the duper hot sun, i decide to get a cold drink and my husband get a cooooool beer at one of the nearby shop. One thing we discover beer and beverages and snack is cheaper in 7 eleven. Check it out yourself!
We walk a bit and saw a poster Phi Phi island 1800thb discount to 1000thb, go in check it out, after talk talk, nego nego, we bought 2 tours from this agent. Phi Phi island 900thb per pax, water rafting 1300thb per pax.
After this, we go to Ao Nang beach. As per everyone said, no white sand and cleary sea water here. This beach is having low tide in evening, high tide in the morning. Is fun to come here in the evening during low tide because you are able to walk from one island to another at this time.
Around 5:00pm, very hot, low tide, you can walk all the way to these two island which you need a boat to reach them in the morning.
Locals also like to spend sometime here.
