Langkawi (Part 2)

Here will cover Telaga Harbour Park and Langawi Cable Car.

These two spots are easily notice inside the map obtain from airport when land. And you will definitaly will pass by Telaga Harbour Park if you are heading to Cable Car.

Telaga Harbour Park



Langawi Cable Car
A ride up to the 550 million years old mountain.
Tips:
Sun block is required. Don't be hero like me.
Comfy shoe, there are some steps need to climb.
Best Sunset location on top of hill around 6pm-7pm.
Advice:
Call to avoid dissapoitment 04-959 4225
Cable car will not operate due to bad weather or strong wind.

Total there are 3 stations. Now is at Base Station.
Here come cable car, let's go!

Due to Tower 1 (Middle Station) in under constraction therefore
have to go directly to Tower 2 (Top Station)
Longest free span between Tower 2 & Middle Station = 950m.
Steepest gradient 42 degree.
Don't be afraid, look outside, view is breath taking.


Approaching Tower 2 and also can see a clear view of the Hanging Bridge.
Looks like UFO station. Haha....

Banana Leaf Rice (Indian Food)

Rice that serve on banana leaf. A little bit like korean style, it come with 4 side dishes eg cucumber with onion and vegetable that cook until very very soft. Don't worry you have the opt to choose those you like and ask for as many scoops as you like. Also don't forget to ask for papadam (Indian cracker), it mix well with the rice with curry sauces. Okay, this is how Banana leaf rice looks like. Eat with hand to have better taste. ^.^ Of course you must take the rice with some main dishes. Curry chicken, chili prawn and mutton curry. And of course not to miss out dish fried calamari. Usually this dish is freshly fried after ordered. A bite of this, a handful of rice with curry sauces, wow! Is heaven. Fish Curry, Chicken Curry and Dhall curry. You may pick one of your favorite or add in all 3 sauces, you will be surprice the taste is still wonderful. Have a try, you will fall in love with this.
